Now i want to place component by having another designer working on the different portion. Now my question is,,, Is there any file output or Script or any procedure to have the placment back in my design.... I hope i have explained my problem here.... Basically export the position data to excel for both designs. Update the placement data and read back into Pads. Very tedious but works. Below is the header info from the script. -RLS Bi-directional_Excel_Link.bas 'This script writes out the X-Y, rotation and layer information from PowerPCB to Excel for editing, and then reads back the changes from Excel to PowerPCB.
